The task at hand was to bring a shopping mall from the 80s up to present day standard. Thus the project was not merely a matter of practicality and aesthetics, but also a question of values. People now expect a shopping mall to express sustainability, mindfulness of quality and materials, and not least a holistic concept. Practicality and human well-being go hand in hand, and the shopping experience is determined by careful considerations. The project, which was executed as a joint venture with Haskoll Architects in London, also included interiors and furniture.
