The client wanted a cabin for the whole family, but at the same time it should be divisible in some way. The solution was a cluster of 3 volumes which can be used individually. Each of the buildings is defined as a clarified geometric volume, organized around the outdoor area that binds them together as one unit.
In north east a hill refine and defines the site, together with the view in the opposite direction. This is reflected in the volumes’ direction to the south west, where the buildings are open with windows in the gable. Towards the other directions the buildings appear more closed.

Oppdragsgiver ønsket seg en hytte for hele familien, men som også skulle kunne oppleves som de enkeltes innbyrdes hytter. Løsningen ble en samling av tre volumer, som kan brukes individuelt. Hvert av husene er definert som enkle og klare volumer, organisert omkring uteplasser som binder dem sammen til en enhet.
En kolle i nordøstlig retning avgrenser og definerer tomten sammen med utsikten mot sørvest. Dette gjenspeiles i bygningskroppenes henvendelse mot sørvest, hvor byggene åpner seg opp med vinduer i gavlfasaden. Mot de andre himmelretningene fremstår bygningene som ett mer lukket volum.
