Leütens have will be an important node in the city center, that provides a social and cultural arena for all its inhabitants. At the same time it gives place to a worthy and good work environment for many of the municipality’s employees. The project is developed on the basis of the relationship between the building in the city, and the city in the building. Leütens have is the hinge which will connect the neighborhoods around to the city center, become the central meeting point and a generous space for the voluntary organizations and cultural life of Trondheim. The building seeks to reinterpret local building traditions, coupled with innovative and adventurous architecture that should clarify its moderen functions and beating pulse, and there by become an attraction and landmark.
