Reiulf Ramstad Architects are showing an exhibition in Paris with an emphasis on new projects with architecture in dialogue with the Norwegian landscape. Common for the projects shown is that they represent the agency’s desire to create an innovative, contemporary and timeless architecture with the landscape as the contextual raw material. The office has recently worked on several challenging assignments in this field, with architecture in landscapes ranging from wild magnificent scenery to cultivated land. The exhibition focuses on projects actively in dialogue with the landscape. The projects are of varying sizes, from small private cabins to comprehensive national tourist route projects. The whole process from drawing and idea to the completed project is shown. The theme of the exhibition is the relationship between nature and architecture, with emphasis on repetition, failure, contrast, and interplay of lines and materials.Reiulf Ramstad Arkitekter viser en utstilling i Paris med hovedvekt på nye prosjekter med arkitektur som går inn i en dialog med norsk landskap. Utstillingen vil legge vekt på prosjekter som aktivt inngår i dialog med landskapet. Prosjektene er av ulik størrelse, fra små private hytter til omfattende nasjonale turistvegprosjekter. Utstillingen viser prosessen fra tegning og idéfase til ferdigstilte prosjekt. Tema for utstillingen er forholdet mellom natur og arkitektur, med vekt på gjentakelser, brudd, kontrast og samspill i linjer og materialbruk. |
